This is the page with course descriptions and registration forms for Fall 2024 lessons and classes. 

Two easy steps for registering.

STEP 1: Please carefully read all of the course descriptions and information below before completing the form(s) at the bottom of this page. 

​

• If registering for private lessons, complete the "Private Lessons Registration" form and pay the one-time $30 fee per family per semester. 

• If registering for Youth Voice Class, complete the "Youth Voice Class" form on this page below.

• If registering for the Praise Band Experience class, complete the "Praise Band Experience" form at the bottom of this page.

• If registering for the Praise and Worship Songwriting Workshop, complete the "Praise and Worship Songwriting Workshop" form at the bottom of this page.

STEP 2: September 1st you will be sent an invoice and a link to select the plan "Fall 2024--Lesson Tuition Georgetown", "Youth Voice Class", "Praise Band Experience", or "Praise and Worship Songwriting Workshop", depending on which registration form you've completed. This is when and where you will begin payments.

Course Descriptions:

Private Lessons

Lessons are $160/month ($40/weekly for 1/2 hour lesson) for 3 months September/October/November. We offer sibling discounts at $140/month for private lessons. Please send us an email to let us know you are registering siblings so that we can adjust your invoice.

Dr. Diana Ellis or Tommy Williams will contact you to set up your preferred day/time for lessons after registration.

Voice, Piano, and Beginning Guitar Lessons are currently being offered at our Georgetown location. Days and times for that are as follows:

Piano & Voice:

Mondays: 3pm-6pm

Tuesdays: 1pm-3:30pm

Thursdays: 1pm-6pm

Guitar:

Mondays: 2:30pm-5pm

Tuesdays: 2:30pm-5pm

Thursdays: 2:30pm-5pm

• Voice lessons are offered for 6th grade-Adults.

• Piano lessons are offered for Kindergarten-Adults.

• Beginning Guitar lessons are offered for 3rd grade-Adult.

*Music books will need to be purchased separately per your teachers recommendation. Cost is usually under $20.*

Youth Voice Class

This class is offered for ages 12 through 18 years old. 

Youth Voice Class is $80/month for three months September/October/November. We offer sibling discounts at $60/month for Youth Voice Class. Please send us an email to let know you have registered siblings so that we can adjust your invoice.

​This class will meet Tuesday's at 5pm in the Kids and Student Building Rm. 104.

​​Praise Band Experience (instrumental)

This class is offered for students in 6th-12th Grade.

Praise Band Experience is $80/month for three months September/October/November. We offer sibling discounts at $60/month for Praise Band Experience. Please send us an email to let know you have registered siblings so that we can adjust your invoice.

This class will meet Tuesday's at 5pm.​​​​​
Students must already play and have basic skills in guitar (either acoustic, electric or bass), keyboard or drums.
Individuals as well as newly established or envisioned youth Praise Teams from area churches are invited to sign up!

If you already play an instrument and are wanting to learn to play/perform/lead worship in a Praise Band this class is for you! You will be coached by our guitar teacher, Tommy, who is an experienced and accomplished Praise Band leader and song-writer. He will lead you as you learn how a Praise Band functions together in leading worship and you will gain true on-stage experience. This class will coordinate during the semester with our Youth Voice Class which will also be preparing Praise and Worship songs and will join the Praise Band class at various times throughout the semester as well as perform and lead worship together at our AFAA Christmas concert on December 8th.​

Praise and Worship Songwriting Workshop

*9th grade through Adult*

This class is $80/month for three months September/October/November.

We will meet Thursday's at 6pm.

Songwriting is always a passion, but it is also a craft that needs practice and nourishing encouragement. Worship/Christian song writing will be the main focus of this workshop, and it will bring the focus of biblical songwriting into practice. If you love music and want to grow in glorifying God through this gift, this workshop will help to prepare and encourage you for developing  this artistic skill.
